DIRECTIONS TO KNOTFEST:
I-94/35: Travel east on I-94 and just after crossing the St. Croix River take exit 1 for Hudson, WI (Hwy 35N). Go through downtown Hudson and continue traveling north on 35/64 until the Somerset exit (VV). Take a left at the top of the ramp & Somerset is 3 miles. The Amphitheater is on the left as you’re approaching town.
I-94/Cty Rd A & I: Travel east on I-94 and take exit 4 for US-12 toward Somerset. Turn left at US-12E/Co Rd U. Continue straight onto Co Rd A. Turn left onto Co Rd I and follow into Somerset. Turn left at Spring St. and the Amphitheater will be on your left.
Camping Rules and Regulations
Check In: Photo ID and your tickets will be required at Camping Check-In.
ATM: There will be ATM’s on the event grounds, but we recommend that you bring the cash you will need.
ATVs/Golf Carts: No ATVs or golf carts are allowed on the grounds.
Carry-ons: (coolers, food and beverage) are welcome in the camping area but NO CARRY-ONS are allowed in the festival area.
Firearms/Fireworks/Weapons: No firearms, fireworks or weapons of any kind are allowed on the Amphitheater grounds.
NO GLASS: is allowed in either the camping or festival areas.
Campfires: Small fires in the VIP campground ONLY are allowed but MUST be monitored at all times & thoroughly extinguished when unattended.
Generators: Only small portable generators 1.5KW or less are allowed.
Grills: You can use grills with gas, propane or charcoal but the fire must be monitored at all times and thoroughly extinguished when unattended.
No Pets are allowed on the grounds. Service animals are allowed, however,
must be pre-approved.
Refunds: There will be no refunds of any camping payments.
Respect: Please respect other campers and their areas. Keep noise at a reasonable level as determined by our Camp Staff. Noise curfew is in effect at Midnight. Should you disturb others and be requested to leave, your camping payment will not be refunded.
Trash: You are responsible for removing trash from your campsite. We will provide receptacles for recyclables, trash, litter and garbage. A fine will be imposed on camping sites left messy.
Vehicles: The speed limit in the campground area is 10 mph (or as posted) due to pedestrian. Please keep vehicles in your own campsite area. There will be a parking area for excess vehicles. All vehicles in the campground areas must have the appropriate RV/vehicle pass. Any vehicles without the appropriate vehicle pass will be towed at the owner’s expense.
CAMPING FAQ’s
Is there an age limit/restriction for camping?
No, no age limit/restriction.
DOES MY CAMPING PASS GET ME INTO THE SHOW?
No, you will need to purchase a separate festival pass for music.
ARE GUESTS ALLOWED TO COME INTO THE CAMPGROUND IF THEY ARE NOT CAMPING?
No, all people in the campgrounds must have a camping wristband.
CAN I TAKE MY CAR/VEHICLE ON AND OFF THE CAMPGROUND SITES?
It isn’t recommended, but yes you can.
IS DRINKING ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS?
Yes, outside food and beverage is allowed in the camping areas. However, you will not be allowed to bring outside food and beverage into the festival grounds. NO GLASS IN THE CAMPING OR FESTIVAL AREA.
WILL THERE BE FOOD BOOTHS OR A GENERAL STORE?
Yes, there is a general store within the campgrounds, and in the festival area there are food and beverage vendors.
ARE BBQ/ GRILLING ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS?
Yes, grills that are monitored at ALL TIMES are allowed.
ARE SHOWERS AVAILABLE IN THE GENERAL CAMPING?
Yes, for a fee.
WHAT ARE THE SHOWER HOURS?
8am to 8pm.
ARE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE?
Yes, there are permanent bathrooms in the VIP campground and porta potties in the GA campgrounds.
ARE ANIMALS ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS?
No, however service animals are allowed.
ARE GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS?
NO GLASS containers are allowed in the camping or festival area.
ARE CAMPFIRES ALLOWED ON THE CAMPGROUNDS?
Yes, in the VIP campgrounds, small campfires that are monitored at ALL TIMES are allowed.
WILL THERE BE ELECTRICAL OUTLETS?
Electrical hookups are available in most VIP campsites.
