Hello all, Jordan here again updating you on the latest happenings of the Rockford area's most popular jock, Captain Jack (at least that's what he thinks...). So this past Wednesday was an 8 lap charity racing event called the Grudge Race. I received a text from Jack around 8:30 that night; the subject: "Really?? Was there any doubt?..." Attached to this was a picture of his first place trophy. Isn't he SUCH a gracious winner? No folks, there isn't the slightest bit of narcissistic tendencies in that man. However, if you want to watch him gloat just a bit, there is a story with a two minute video showing him after he's won in which I'm pretty sure he's trying not to smile too hard because he beat Stone by an entire lap. THAT had to make for a very interesting day at the office the next day! THIS intern is glad she had the day off that day! Anyway, check out this link:

Congrats Captain Jack on the win! Honestly, if he hadn't won, I have a feeling he would have had to make a call to Steve McMichael, head coach of the Chicago Slaughter, and a member of the '85 bears. He frequently calls him when he needs cheering up, because he is then allowed to wear his Superbowl ring for a short period of time. Apparently, that's all he needs in order to feel once again superior to the rest of the world.
