Chicago Bears Training Camp 2012

I made my annual trip down to Bourbonnais for Bears Training Camp. The Bears made some good moves over the off season, so I'm excited about the upcoming season. Training camp has changed a lot from the old Platteville days. Back then it was for the "Super Fan." The only thing to do was to watch the team practice. Now, it's a huge family event. A play area for kids, theme days, a huge store, food vendors, multiple fields, radio stations broadcasting live, giveaways, bleachers, & so much more. So many more fans come now. It makes it much harder to get autographs. I was very impressed this year, because George MacCaskey, Chairman of the Bears. was actually walking around & visiting with fans. That kind of stuff didn't happen in the past.
Here is what I thought of the team. Remember it was only the 2nd day of camp ...

Greetings Bears fans!!! This weekend it's Bears vs Chargers, here are my thoughts on the game and other random crap:
Jay Cutler will actually put up numbers this weekend...Yes The Bears won last week, but Cutlers numbers made Fantasy players puke in their mouths.
The new Slash DOUBLE LIVE CD is killer...Great driving or working out music. BTW, how the HELL puts out a double live CD in 2011??
Oh Penn State...Im having as much fun watching your University get destroyed piece by piece as I did watching all of your great linebackers destroy RB's over the years.
Erica makes GREAT veggie juice, yum!
Kim Kardashian faked a wedding and made out with 17 MILLION DOLLARS...and I'm ok with it. When your only other REAL talent is....(I've seen the video) I figure what the heck! K.K....Tweet me! #CaptainJackShow
Modern Family, best show on TV.
April is NOT that far away, ...
I'm back, brace yourself.

OK, so I haven't "blogged" recently.....Sorry Erica, I owe you pickles and ice cream. The Bears sit 5-3 with a rematch against The Lions Sunday afternoon. Here are my thoughts on this game and other important items:
Lions busted their nut early, Bears by two touchdowns
I hate snow
I love a good potato soup
The new FFDP CD is pretty bad ass
Jay Cutler is WAY better then the majority of "sports media" gives him credit for
Double T IS a ninja
The BEST part about Joe Paterno being fired, is that the worthless scum of a human being will die soon.
