Will tickets be available at the door?
Maybe. To be guaranteed admittance buy a ticket in advance.
Will ticket price go up at the door?
Presale price is $15. If there are only a limited number remaining they will be $20.

What time do doors open?
Gates open at 11AM.

When they take the stage – come on man, we’ve never announced the order.

How will you handle security this year?
Providing a safe event is of the utmost importance to our organization and to the future success of Wing Ding. Because of this, measures will be taken to ensure that our event is safe. We will hire uniformed officers as required or recommended by the county or other local law enforcement agencies. Security personnel will be in easily identifiable uniforms easily distinguishable from concert attendees. Our top priority and main focus is to provide a safe event in which all laws are strictly enforced. Similar to other area community events where alcohol is served, our beer sales will be contracted with an outside source and we will be working very closely and diligently with our vendors and security personnel to ensure that all laws are strictly enforced. WXRX Releases Location of Wing Ding 2009

Today at a press conference held at the Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD), Maverick Media General Manager J Chapman announced that Wing Ding 2009 will be held at RFD’s “Bell Bowl” area on Sunday, May 24, 2009. For the past 3 years, Wing Ding has been held at the Rockford Speedway. Wing Ding is an annual concert sponsored by WXRX-FM that started years ago as a chicken-wing competition but has evolved into a day-long rock concert. Popular bands that have played over the years include: Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Three Days Grace, Buckcherry, and Hinder. Tickets for Wing Ding 2009 will go on sale in March.
