Crazy couple of days

It's been a crazy couple of days. Tuesday meet some members of Boston & then see their show. They are an incredible live band. Wednesday we picked up our friend Gregg McKarns from Rockford Speedway from the airport. He came out to hang a couple of days. We checked out downtown Sturgis. There is a new place, Easy Rider. The place is a whole block. They had our buddies Blackberry Smoke & Kentucky Headhunters play an early show. That was cool. Plus, we met up with the Hellzapoppin Side Show. The rest of the night we hung at the Full Throttle. Colt Ford was good. Tanya Tucker was interesting. Today is Jackyl day. I expect lots of excitement.

The Fun Continues

Another successful day at the Full Throttle in the books. Yesterday, we recorded our show in our normal spot. Saw some folks from home. Saving Abel came & hung out for a bit. Spotted a woman with boobs the size of basketballs. Even though I don't like country music, meeting Travis Tritt was pretty cool. He was in Blues Brothers 2000. Jesse James DuPree got set on fire & went across the zipline. What will be do next. It's going to be hard to decide what show to go to tonight. We've got Cinderella & Sebastian Bach here at the Full Throttle, Boston & Buckcherry at the Chip, BOC at Glencoe, the Headhunters at the Spoke, & Blackberry Smoke at Easy Rider. A good day in Sturgis!

The Rally has now officially started

The Rally has now officially started. The Rally is Mon-Fri, but of course the activities start before & keep going after. The heat has finally arrived. It could reach 100 today. We will be heading up to our spot in the Full Throttle shortly to start working on our show for Tue. As I look out the windows of the RV, on my left I see cows & on my right I see the Travis Tritt truck. Now that's Sturgis. We will be hooking up with a couple of friends later, Scott Bartlett from Saving Abel and Zach Brodrick, who played with Modern Day Zero & Nonpoint. Yesterday was such a crazy day, it's nice to have kind of a chill day today. Should be another good day at The Rally!

The rally hasn't even started yet!

I can't believe it. The rally hasn't even officially started yet. It "officially" starts on Monday. As Frank the Tank from Old School says, "We have a nice little Saturday planned." We headed over to the Buffalo Chip & interviewed Adelita's Way & Shinedown. Then we checked out their show. It rocked! They are both on Uproar Festival. I suggest checking them out. We then cam back to the Full Throttle & caught the end of Brian Howe from Bad Company. Other good show. We wondered around the Throttle with some of the guys from Jackyl.

Today, we got up early. We had to head up to Rapid City to interview Night Ranger. It was cool. We got to talk to Brad Gillis about his time with Ozzy. VERY AWESOME! While we were with them, we met the manager of Journey & former NFL player Toby Wright. We have a busy afternoon. Interviews ...

Same as it ever was...Same as it ever was

So here we are sitting on our General RV backstage at the Full Throttle Saloon.  We just got back from running into town to get some things that we forgot..namely a pillow for me.  I couldn't help but think that today is just like everyday we have spent in Sturgis.  I looked at Double T and said "So what do you think of Sturgis so far and he looked at me and said "Same as it ever was"

When I first got my eyes of the Throttle, I knew that there was going to be an issue.  I could see all kinds of RV's parked where we would normally park.  There just ain't enough power out here for all of us, and I couldn't have been more right.  That is when Super Jesse came out and saved our week.  "I don't know where all of these people came from ...
